I attend Worthing hospital regularly and have always been treated with the utmost respect and care i have also had surgery 3 times and the ward staff have been fantastic. All of my treatment has been mainly related to breast cancer and the Consultants and Surgeons have made me feel important and valued, they have also prolonged my life. The entire hospital has a wonderful friendly atmosphere-whichever department you are attending.

The consideration given to me both pre and post operation was excellent. Though it had not be preplanned that I would have to stay the night, the staff on Downland ward were wonderful.

I enjoyed going Worthing Hospital for my operation because the staff were so friendly and put me at ease at a time when I was feeling a little nervous.

Thank you to Mr. Bhutta, his team, the nurses and all support staff for the excellent treatment and care I received during my recent endoscopic sinus surgery. I was treated with skill, patience, respect and understanding throughout. My one very minor criticism is that I would have liked to have received more information about the treatment and care prior to the day of the surgery.

The care that I received in Downlands Suite in Worthing Hospital was excellent. The only problem that I had was nausea, vomiting and itching on my upper torso. On leaving hospital I was given 5 days supply of the antibiotic Trimethropine by the hospital pharmacist. Inside the box was a leaflet. This leaflet stated that a very common side effect was nausea, vomiting and itch. I had been given this antibiotic each day while I was recovering after the operation. Nobody had linked the possibility that the antibiotic could have caused the problems. This is not a criticism but a suggestion regarding the medication system.

when coming into a and e I thought that a doctor would give his opinion on what the problem is and not have a nurse come down from a ward to give their opinions has this now the norm for a and e when coming into this department
